Blackout PVC fabric white/black for tents

White/black fabric is a PVC-coated fabric with one white face and one black face. From the outside the tent looks white, like any event tent, and the white face reflects the sun. Inside, the black face lets no light through: the interior stays completely dark even in broad daylight. What a tent with a black interior is used for

Events with lighting, video or projection: product launches, parties, concerts and night-time events held in the daytime. The show lighting stands out and no sunlight gets in.
Film, television and advertising shoots: tents and enclosures that darken the space for night scenes, monitor areas or equipment storage.
Immersive exhibitions, mapping, haunted attractions and rides: spaces that must be completely dark.
Stages and backstage: black backdrops and light-free walkways.

What we make in white/black fabric

Roofs for polygonal tents of 10, 15 and 20 m, for wide-span gable tents and for 5 x 5 m jaima tents.

Features of white/black fabric

One white face and one black face: an opaque fabric that blocks light.
850 g/m² version with class T2 under UNE-EN 15619 (test EN 14115), AITEX report no. 2024AN2178. See the technical data sheet.
Lighter 680 g/m² version, in rolls 2.5 m wide. If your installation requires a fire-reaction certificate, tell us when you request a quote.
High-tenacity polyester coated with PVC: waterproof, UV-protected and treated against mould.
With the white face outwards, the tent heats up less than a tent that is black on both sides.

Frequently asked questions

Can you tell from the outside that the tent is black inside?

No. The outer face is white, so from outside the tent looks like any other white tent. Only the interior is black.

Can I order just the roof or just the sidewalls in white/black?

Yes. We make roofs, sidewalls and gable ends separately for structures you already own, of any brand, from your measurements, a drawing or the old cover. See also our replacement covers for tents.

What is the lead time?

We make it in a couple of days at most, plus pallet transport time to your address. We confirm the exact lead time with your quote.

Do you have a fire-retardant certificate?

The 850 g/m² version is class T2 under UNE-EN 15619, with an AITEX report. We send it to you together with your quote.
