Jaima tents: complete tents and made-to-measure covers
The jaima is the peaked, Moorish-style tent that has become a classic at weddings, terraces, hotels, beach bars and fairs. Plastold has manufactured complete jaimas and replacement covers at its workshop in Málaga, Spain, since 1998, selling factory-direct to hire companies, hospitality businesses, event organisers and local councils.

Complete tent or cover only
Complete jaimas: frame and cover ready to put up, made to the size you need.
Replacement covers: if your frame is still in good condition, we make the new roof and walls from your measurements or from the old cover.
Walls and accessories: opaque curtains, walls with clear PVC windows and gutters to join several tents together.
Materials made for professional use
We make our jaimas from PVC-coated polyester fabric, in 650 g/m² for hire fleets and frequent assembly and in 850 g/m² for long-term installations. All our fabrics have the T2 fire-retardant certificate, UV protection and anti-mould treatment, and are fully waterproof. For free-form installations we also make Bedouin-style tents in stretch fabric.

Sizes and customisation
We manufacture to measure, from small jaimas for terraces to modular sets joined with gutters for large events. White is the most requested colour, but we work with other colours and combinations. Ask for the free sample book to see and feel them before you decide.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a jaima, a pagoda and a Bedouin tent?
Jaima and pagoda usually refer to the same kind of square tent with a peaked roof. The Bedouin tent is different: it uses an elastic fabric tensioned over poles, with organic shapes. We make all three.
Are they fire retardant?
Yes. Our fabrics are classified T2 and we supply the certificate.
