Jaima tents, pitched-roof marquees and transparent tents

For weddings we usually recommend three solutions. Jaima tents can be joined together with gutters to extend the covered area without losing visual continuity. Pitched-roof marquees with transparent walls or roof let in daylight and reveal the surroundings of the venue, something highly valued for outdoor weddings. Stretch Bedouin tents, with their flowing curved lines, are also used for ceremonies and cocktail receptions for their distinctive look.

Buying rather than hiring when there is a wedding season

An estate, hotel or catering company that covers several weddings every weekend during the season needs its tent available at all times, without depending on the availability of a hire company. Buying the tent allows you to plan the set-up freely and get a return on the investment event after event. The situation is different for a couple who only need a tent for their own wedding day: in that case, it is usual to turn to a local hire company. 650 g/m2 PVC fabric and T2 fire certificate

The most common fabric for weddings is 650 g/m2 PVC, a material designed for frequent set-ups and events, waterproof, with UV protection and an anti-mould treatment. For celebrations open to the public, the fabric carries the T2 fire classification, whose certificate is delivered together with the material. When the installation is permanent or covers large spans, 850 g/m2 fabric is also available.

A structure ready for decoration

The tent structure is the base on which your decoration team, or your clients', can add lighting, interior drapes and other decorative elements. As every tent is made to measure, we can adapt it to the exact dimensions of the estate or garden where it will be set up.

Frequently asked questions

Which tent do I need for a given number of guests?

There is no single size that fits all: it depends on the table layout, whether there will be a dance floor, a bar or a separate ceremony area. Send us the floor plan or layout you have in mind and we will suggest the most suitable dimensions.

Transparent or white?

Both options work well and are chosen according to the effect you want: a transparent tent reveals the surroundings and lets in natural light, while a white one offers a neutral space that is easy to decorate and gives a little more privacy.

What happens if it rains during the wedding?

The PVC fabric is completely waterproof, so the celebration can carry on as normal under cover if it rains.

Do you have a fire certificate?

Yes, our PVC fabric carries the T2 classification and the corresponding certificate is delivered together with the material, a common requirement for events open to the public.
